The University of Illinois provides Faculty, Staff, and Students with an annual subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.  This subscription is a free offer, however, it must be renewed annually for continued access.

Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of programs including Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.  For a full list programs in the suite, please click here.

Getting started with Adobe Creative Cloud

First, you need to make sure you have purchased the license from the Webstore.  If you are not sure, follow these steps

  1. Go to  https://webstore.illinois.edu/home/
  2. Click on Personal Purchases in the upper right
  3. Locate Adobe in the list of Products
  4. Locate the item Adobe Creative Cloud for University Staff Enterprise Access (Expires x/xx/20xx).
  5. Choose Add to Cart
  6. You will be prompted to log in using your netid/netid password.  Complete the checkout process.

NOTE:   The actual licensing will take 1-2 business days to complete.  You will need to wait at least one business day to be able to log in. After you have waited 1 business day, you should be able to log in using the following directions.


Adobe Creative Cloud License Renewal

If you have previously purchased Adobe Creative Cloud, you will receive an email from the Webstore some time in May with instructions for renewal.  You must complete the renewal by the specified date, or your access to Adobe products will be removed.

To complete the renewal, follow the same steps above, and your license will be extended for another year.  Below is a sample email that you could expect to receive.
