Federated Identities

NCSA operates a SAML identity provider for NCSA users/projects that is registered in the InCommon federation Federation and available globally via eduGAIN. Choose the "National Center for Supercomputing Applications" identity provider to log sign in to sites like https://wiki.shibboleth.net/ with your NCSA identity. To sign up for an NCSA identity, visit https://go.ncsa.illinois.edu/idp-guestFor operational announcements about NCSA's identity provider, please subscribe to the ncsa-idp-announce mailing list.

NCSA also operates the CILogon service that provides an OpenID Connect compliant interface to federated identities. CILogon enables you to log on at sites like https://www.globus.org/ using your campus identity. For information on connecting your application with CILogon, visit http https://www.cilogon.org/oidc.
