Student Workstations 3 tower computing in the NDS roomWe now have three Ubuntu workstations in the NDS room.  These are available for general use by anyone who needs them.

On the logon screen, there are a list of defined personal accounts, and a guest account.

The guest account can be used by anyone, but settings and data are not saved from session to session.

From ITS:
> You are correct it is using Kerberos, however, unfortunately each
> user must be added individually to the machine.  If you could get us
> a list of users that will be using the machine(s) we can add them to
> the appropriate machines.

Request that your account be added to those machines by sending an email to help+its@ncsa.illinois.edu.
