You can connect to a C3 cluster from any Python session.

  1. Ensure your python environment is properly enabled. (This is mostly for folks who are using tools like conda)
  2. Install the DTI provided c3python module using a tool like pip. (You can also clone with git, and install using the setup.py script.
    pip install git+https://github.com/c3aidti/c3python
  3. Import the get_c3 function and create the 'c3' object.
    from c3python import get_c3
    c3 = get_c3('<vanity_url>', '<tenant>', '<tag>')
  4. You can now use the 'c3' object as you would in a C3 jupyter container!
