1. EC/MPI Updates
   1. EC has been focused on the budget.
      1. ADs have met with the Director and reviewed Directorate budgets at a high level.
      2. Current budget request is 2 million over (8 million target vs request of 10 million)
      3. Further discussion is on the AD agenda tomorrow morning
   2. Equity cases have been processed - recommendations accepted by the Director and forwarded to OVCRI.
   3. Promotion cases are next for review - meeting still pending
      • What is the timing for the promotion cases? Goal is to get them done ASAP - ideally before the start of the FY.
2. PCO Move
   1. John will meet with Team Leads and with the PMs in the coming weeks to assess the transfer of the PCO from Administration to Engagement:
      1. Discussion will focus on current assignments and need for PM support:
         1. New awards/efforts that may require PM support
         2. Awards/efforts closing that will open up PM capacity
   2. Structure will follow a combination of the PCO's recommendations and feedback from Center Leadership.
   3. There will be an open search for the new PCO Lead.
   4. PDO has a proposal in the works to identify a PM for the proposal and for the project - reach out and discuss with Yousaf.
3. Work Mode Analysis Input Analysis input due on May 25. Please remember to complete the sheet and fill out the "Current Work Mode" and "Agreed Upon Work Mode" columns.
4. CDDR recommendations are waiting approval from the Director's Office.
5. Presentation: Center for Exascale Enabled Scramjet Design (CEESD)
   1. Four senior staff located at NCSA (Mike Campbell, Mike Anderson, Matt Smith, Matthias Diener).
   2. 2.5 out of 5 years - staff will be looking for new opportunities depending the recompete at year 5.
   3. New faculty member arriving to campus - hired to develop new predictive science.
      1. John will connect with Jon Freund - will be happy to speak with them.
   4. NUWEST hands-on workshops upcoming - roadtest some talks at NCSA.
